The silver and gold wheels really enhance the shape of the wheels. I is hard for me to understand why do you want to paint them in black, removing the details of the wheel, and looking as one black mass. Of course it is a question of personal taste. By the way gold wheels are coming back, they remind us of the 60s and 70s. They looked very good on the Sports Cars from Ferrari. I configured my Pista with gold wheels.
humbly suggest if going with gold wheels do not have yellow calipers or center cap. Get the calipers to match one of the colors in your stripe.
I think that's a wise suggestion. This will prevent a clash with the gold wheels, and allow them to stand out more. Black calipers and carbon fiber center caps would work as well. Fred
Agreed I did the brake calipers in blue with blue center caps looked amazing with the gold rims. Yellow was off putting with the gold.... Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
You have to start typing your question outside the QUOTE or it will be locked in above the line in the previous message. As to the shade of blue I think it is "Blu TdF 70 Anni" for this new Pista.
Thanks for the quoting tip - I realized that after I posted. I've ordered my Pista in Swatters Blue and am interested to see real pics of the cars in the blues.
I learned the hard way on the quotes until I figured it out. Yes there should be a few different blues coming along for the Pista. Congrats on your Pista allocation and getting Swaters Blue. The color was named after the long time Belgium Ferrari dealer Jacques Swaters. About 1991 they introduced the then new Ferrari 456 at his dealership and named the blue paint on that car after him. I just noticed "2003" for joining, that is a long time here.

George thank you for sharing your factory build picture here. Beautiful result with that Grigio Ferro. Though that color at the factory always photographs strangely in the way that the highlights in the paint appear as different shades of color. Silver wheels look perfect with that paint choice to! On the boat or by air for transit?
I've seen the Pista countless times, in the flesh up close, and in shots. Confirmed by owner, blu tdf
Thank you, much appreciated! I guess we will have to wait a bit longer for the new Blue Tour de France paint color...
Between the second and third week of november 4 (four) Pista Spider will enter into the production line and all of them will be painted in Blue TDF 70 anni. All will be factory cars.
