Hey guys! A few years ago I did a very successful Tribute to Pop Up Headlights video, which got some attention from various automotive publications. Right now I am working on a Volume 2 of that video, which features some amazing cars, including several one of a kind concept cars.

Nice video- impressive that you had three (!) Lamborghini Jalpas do their thing for you

Actually, it's later Mangustas that can have pop ups.

Thank you! The Motor City is a great place to be for rare cars like that.

And you are correct about the Mangustas. I have a friend who has one and know a few others who have them around here, but none of them have the pop ups. It's a tough one!

So, you're not just doing 'pop-ups'.

The 67- Mercury Cougar didn't have pop-ups, it had movable covers that opened, exposing the fixed headlights... like the Ford LTD of about the same vintage, and many, many other cars.

    And Pontiac Sunbird?
Couldn't think of any, but found a rare turbo version that had half eyelids that covered half the headlights and retracted. The headlights were fixed.

That's correct. Yeah I failed to mention that in the first post, I'm just using "pop up headlights" as a blanket term for every type of concealed headlight there is.
