    Plastic connector broken?

Sorry to say, but it'll be a minor miracle if you find a new one.

Not really overpriced, if they actually have it. Eurospares list a new one at GBP 35.67 but "to order" (which means NLA) and a used one in stock for GBP 45.

I made a solid ground cable for my '90 ts years ago for $20. Never looked back. The stock bullet connectors SUCK!

Indeed. Go to a welding material shop and buy some 250Amp cable and connectors. .... 20 euro. Ready.

Are battery cables supposed to be 0 gauge or 2 gauge? Autozone’s computer told me 2 gauge.

The wiring diagrams give some of the cable sizes in square millimeters. You would have to convert that to AWG.

The wiring diagram I have shows 4 cables on the battery, but it's not clear from the diagrams whether it's a front or rear battery installation. Sizes may vary.

Battery to cutoff switch (no size shown, but possibly the same as the F355... i.e. 35 mm^2) (black wire)
Battery to alternator (25 mm^2) (black wire, but positive)
Battery to buss bar in passenger footwell (10 mm^2) x 2 (red wires, positive)

    2 gauge is around 35 mm^2.
