I can't help much but you might try contacting the 3500gt registry with the block number? http://www.am101.org/home.php
Could help too. But def 3500GT twin plug. Two versions, Webers or/ Lucas fuel injection Try to track down the original car, maybe it's still out there. https://www.ferrarichat.com/forum/threads/3500gt-engine-for-sale.473843/

The owner of the car will be very happy: contact BHCC and explain, they will inform him. Make sure you get senior management some of the basic salesmen may not care. Offering them a small commission might help if at first they don't seem to care. They should. But contact the registry as well they will be happy to know and might be in touch with the new owner.
Here is a link to the BHCC listing (04/04/17): https://www.beverlyhillscarclub.com/1962-maserati-3500-gt-c-7106.htm
The owner of the car will be very happy indeed. A lot of work ahead to restore the car as original...
That car has been through torture, what complete nonsense....hopefully it will be sorted out by the new owner, but maybe he should arrange an exorcism first...
