key fob not working- help

    Hi. One of the two key fobs for my 07 430 doesn’t work so could do with a bit of advice please. I’ve changed the batteries, still not working. I’m assuming the fob is broken. Can these things be repaired, does anyone know?

    Hi,

    Sounds like it just needs reprogrammed/synchronized. As long as you have one working key fob, you're golden. I wrote a document for this very purpose (see attached below).

    Mine was doing the same until i cleaned the battery contacts with some contact cleaner and a cotton bud, try that first.

    Cleaned the contacts, followed the instructions from Dale, now works perfectly! Thanks.

    I had the same problem. Went to the dealer. They connected a computer to the car. All fixed and on my way in maybe 10 minutes.

    If above suggestions do not work contact ferrarifobs.com. Took care of all my issues on my 360. I now also have a pin code.

    360 and F430 fobs have virtually nothing in common. Except for the necessity of keeping the contacts clean, every thing else from battery type to operating principles is different.

    Does the process that Dale posted above work for any F430 key fob or just ones that were previously programmed to the same car?
