I liked the similarly priced black one in Chicago better other than the color

Actually not too uncommon for 90s era and on Ferraris. The steering column covers are not a great design, and you reach around kind of "blind" to find the ignition key slot. The fragile soft touch surface only adds to the problem. I know when I bought my F355 used with 27k miles, it had a surprising amount of damage there, considering how pristine the rest of the car was. It was the first thing I replaced with a new one.

Today, one would send it out to be refinished and never have to deal with that again.

Looks like someone just traded in their SCUD at Porsche Westwood in MA. Anyone have any info on this car?

I'm helping a buddy locate a no-stories, all original/OEM 2009 rosso corsa, black alcantara, grey stripes Scud. Anyone got any leads?

Wow ..silent .. no sales recently ?

I am thinking a low mileage Scud with right colors and 2009 is mid 180s .. is that correct

I paid much more 2 years ago but I think the market got soft in 2017 and is slightly recovering

    Thoughts

There was a mild peak in prices in 2016, then trailed off since then.
Hard to say what actual selling prices are today. But "asking" for what you describe seems to be $205-$220k. I suspect selling would be below that, so $190 to $205?

Prices have hovered in the 200-240k range for years now...it's funny how more than half of results on cars.com as of this post are all storied examples and/or "less desirable" colors (black, silver, yellow).

You are buying from an authorized Ferrari dealer, so you can be confident the car should be in good condition, and with an appropriate recent service. The negatives on the car are quite obvious, which is the tinted side markers and tail lights, as well as the aftermarket stereo head unit, and non factory subwoofer. The CF shields are probably factory, but not original to the car, added later. I see a few sticky issues on the air con controls, and wheels are non factory color. Otherwise presents well and I like white. I am sure you could talk them down with minimal effort. The non factory changes hurt value, which is why I think you can talk them down, which is all to your advantage, since you say you aren't concerned with resale. I would want their inspection report on brake pad thickness and clutch wear.

I can guarantee it is not a great buy and is in all likelihood a fake listing

Nice Scud as long as PPI checks out...how many owners? Service records?
I bought my 16M with similar 10k miles - it has been near bulletproof with now 18k miles after 5 years.
If car checks out well I’d offer 175-180k.
Scud is a great buy in today’s market.
