    Found this 2016 FF for sale. Seller claims salvage title (which I dont mind, since it’s going to be a daily driver), but this has all the makings of a scam. Seller says come with cash only, show it to his brother, then his brother will take me to the car!

    I say i’ll bring a cashiers check after ive seen and test driven the car. He says ‘it’s in a car show and he doesnt want to get it out of the show unless he knows i’m real.’ Never heard of a week long car show, but i’m plaiying along and ask where the show is, i’ll go see it. Waiting for a response...

    Looking for whatever info I can as to true extent of original damage.

    Please let me know if you know this car from the Houston area, and what you know about it.

    Or conversely, let me know if you recognize this car from somewhere else and some scammer has stolen the images to run their scam.

    If it smells like fish... it probably is! The car looks neat on pictures but the story would be waaaay to shady for me to bring cash. I’d walk away and buy from a reputable dealer.

    Run a mile. Any genuine seller wouldn’t ask for cash only and to see the cash beforehand. Sounds like a trap to me.

    Also, why not ask which show and ask to view it there?

    I did just that- waiting for a response. Most likely wont get one.

    Agreed on all counts, but at this point kind of fun to get whatever info I can and pass it along to others to steer clear. Also curious if someone on here knows the car and what the real story is.

    Dude no offense but even the fact you're asking this question is concerning...... I would tell the guy to go f*$^ himself.....not only is it a scam but you'll likely get robbed of the cash
