There is a downside to the TRX and thats steering effort. Maybe not an issue on a 400 with P/S but it has a huge negative effect on a BBi. When I go from my BB with XWX tires to a BBi the steering effort is dramatically increased and a disappointment to the point I would go to the 15" BB wheels if I had an injected car.

The increased effort is due to the wider tread on the TRX

The Daft Punk Ferrari 412 was auctioned for chartity (Japan disaster relief) in april 2011 for nearly $ 42K. Correct price at that time?
Jane Birkin's handbag was at $ 163K. Same auction.

 

That was a normal price back then, but one must tke into consideration that the daft-punk made a few modifications to the car: the Cavalino and all the emblems were removed, many parts painted black. I presume an untouched car such as the Rainman car would have fetched higher price.

As far as buying the Hermès Birkin Bag designed for and owned by Birkin herself, we are talking about the very bag that started it all and owned by a famous actress. Sure, bidders went mad, but bear in mind that the "regular" bag carries a price tag of approx €20k (€33k with a few hop-ups), the waiting list is so long that used bags prices are sky rocketing (see Monaco's auctions). As a side note the most expensive Birkin bag sold so far was auctioned for 380k! Maybe 163k is a bargain after all... Almost forgot: profit went to the Red Cross (she is a philanthropic).

Back to the subject, just wondering how much that one would fetch ?
