Cayenne for sure a lot better car then the levante! We had a Levante and switched to a Macan after not even a year and are super happy with the Porsche

could you elaborate on specifically what you like about the Macan more than the Levante. My father is comparing the Macan to the Levante, leaning towards the Maserati and wondering if they just get a bad rap.

The drive of the Macan is so much better than the Levante. Although the Maser is bigger the usebilitiy of the trunks is almost the same if not better with the Porsche. Lastly I believe the macan is just the by far more enjoyable car

They seem to be holding value a bit better than the rest of the Maseratis..

I also loved driving it---it is amazing!
No idea what it is that some people are looking for in a SUV that this thing doesn't excel in...

it’s pretty simple, size. That’s where the Levante falls short. Let’s be honest Maserati’s are male cars, not soccer mom cars. The successful man that buys a Maserati in this case a Levante wants to pick up his buddies for a 4 some round of golf and show off his Maserati. Well that isn’t going to happen with the Levante, it will struggle to hold 2 full size golf bags. That will kill a sale in 10 seconds.

I bought a used one for my wife. I have two pre-turbo era QPs I want her to stay away from since she tends to have bad luck. I wouldn't buy one new, just a year or two the price gets reasonable. We used it for family outings and stuff too. It's done very well in sand, mountains and rocks, driving rain and snow. Or as a grocery getter.

My personal complaint is the engine. It's typical of a modern engine where it hesitates then hell's bells acceleration that doesn't sound good. I really dislike turbos which is why I drive the naturally aspirated stuff. It does sound good just tooling around and really that's the way it drives best. Handling is very good and it's a cozy place to be. Leather's good but some of the trim is subpar. I like it overall - for what it is - an SUV.
