https://www.carscoops.com/2018/10/place-winning-bids-take-home-matching-laferrari-aperta-duo/ If I were that Megamillons winner from South Carolina I know where I would be when these went up for auction.
Looks like Michael Fux's cars. He seems to go through expensive cars like water. Does he have a big collection with ongoing replacement rides or has he been downsizing? Will Ferrari sell him special editions after selling the Aperta so soon? I would've guessed higher miles on the cars since they are photographed in public a bit. But with probably 100 cars the miles get spread out lol.
He made an Instagram post following the delivery of his GT2RS that more cars would be incoming (like the Senna), but I didn't think he'd sell both LaFerraris, esp. as you noted, the Aperta. With all the cars he has, I'm guessing selling both as a 1-ticket item is his way of clearing up his funds for new toys quickly.
I follow his collection, and he seems to be a compulsive buyer with little interest in putting together a a great and original collection. He has warehouses full of cars. Looks more like a dealership.. Mr Guiercioni in switzerland has what a call a FREAKIN GREAT COLLECTION . The garage in itself is as beautiful as the car it contains. Heaven on earth. The place is a dealership according to what I've been told but the car are from his private collection. His son has a nice IG page (@swizzcars) Future Photography
the side shields need to be yellow and black. carbon shields are really cheap looking and look worse on laferrari
Funny you say that because I too thought all those Fcars belonged to a dealer rather than private collection just stored in a dealer. Either way, I think both collections on the outside look like a wealthy person "checking the box" of supercars and seem unimaginative and unoriginal to most. If was in their position, I would be buying the same cars with probably a little different spec (for sure compared to Fux). It's hard nowadays to put together a collection of historically significant cars when most barnfinds have been found and the ones made available are well into the 8 figures each...
