The Pista won the Sports Car of the Year test in CAR Magazine, before the GT2 RS (2nd) and Senna (3rd). In the Top Gear one, the Pista was second after the Renault Alpine. I don't know the outcome of the AUTOCAR review yet...
Pista came second in Autocar, 600LT won and alpine 3rd. The numbers the pista did in the Autocar test were mind bending.
Just drove past these 2.Going to pop in tomorrow to check out why there is the "thing" on the roof of the Pista. Pretty sure it must be for the track telemetry.
I passed by today and asked they said its only for the UK market as the car needs a stronger antenna to get a better signal.

For the regular radio signal ? I have specced the sound system on mine (don't have anything in Speciale) but will take it off spec if it means an antenna.

Weather not great today so did not wander down to HR Owen. My dealer thinks it is for radio signal. I have asked for as late a build slot as possible for mine so hoping a more elegant UK solution is available by then.
Please can you point me to someone on this forum that can do a rendering of a specific colour scheme for a new Pista. Please PM me Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
Yes it is for dab radio - confirmed by my uk dealer today. Seemingly all UK cars and also some other markets (USA/Canada?) need the shark fin antenna for radio reception. Apparently on regular 488 the antenna is within the rear bumper? Which they cannot do on the Pista as this section is cf. must confess to feeling rather pissed off about this as to my mind it totally spoils the roof line. Only way to avoid it is not to spec sat nav and radio and I like this option even less than the bloody antenna. Rant over! Sent from my iPad using FerrariChat.com mobile app
