https://www.motorsport.com/f1/news/mercedes-hamilton-engine-normal/4302727/ The engine that was ''1 lap away from failure'' in Brazil is actually completely fine....I'm shocked!
Yep, typical Mercedes ******** trying to justify why he couldn’t live with lil Maxine last race...... their turd has such a fragile ego, he needs to believe thee was something wrong other than that he can’t race without the best car by a margin.... shame they didn’t put Alonso in the other Mercedes for a year, Elton wouldn’t see which way fernando went
Just like Ferrari, Mercedes F1 exist to win driver's and constructors championships...and they have a driver that has accomplished the former multiple times, and Bottas who is fast enough to take points off their competitors and challenge for race wins on occasion. No reason to have to have two big egos banging heads when their current setup is more than getting the job done - just as worked devastatingly for Ferrari in the early 2000s. Not going to change a winning formula just to appease some non-fans desperately looking for aggro and melodrama.
That’s fine, except the same people that love bottles acting like a debutant at an orgy complain like hell when Ferrari have team orders and go on to win, claiming it’s bad for the sport. If Mercedes car gets truly equalled or even minutely surpassed by a competitor next season or the one after, your little Elton will implode and be announcing his retirement rather than deal with real competition. He’s already admitted he is scared of Max, what sort of a champion does that? Michael would’ve been happy to bang wheels and put some manners on max, and he would have been the first to congratulate him on the days when his talent was evident.
Hehe, Lewis scared of Max? I don't think so... Incidentally I think all the drivers on the grid respect Max's speed - he is obviously a formidable opponent - being super fast, super aggressive, and bit a dangerous and unpredictable at times - who wouldn't keep an eye on that type of driver? So far, Lewis/Max seem to have perfectly fine relationship and Lewis has been complimentary of him on numerous occasions.
Leclerc just did a lap...7 thousands slower than a red bull only. Stroll closes qualifying fittingly, in last place.
Oh yeah, he challenged him last time out didn’t he, wow, what a battle...... not. He’s terrified of him. Elton’s only safety is that Mercedes are allowed their cheats to continue, and so the car is the best at almost every track so he’s bound to win, and his lapdog isn’t even allowed to keep his foot in on qualifying laps if he threatens him.... pathetic
Kimi...what a sad way to end his time with Ferrari....at least the hospitality has champagne a plenty.
No denying he had a great season, but he's had zero pressure from his teammate. None. Ferrari offered some competition in a fair amount of races, but Mercedes have largely had the upper hand....they where never off the pace, whereas Ferrari and Red Bull both where. It's something Mercedes could've lived with always. Ferrari (and Vettel) is under intense pressure to deliver from everyone. Every move is scrutinized. They shot themselves in the foot too often. All started going really wrong after Marchionne died. Zero direction almost immediately. I fear for next year, an on form Leclerc will cause problems from Vettel's side I think, which will lead to more disorganization. If Leclerc does prove significantly faster I assume Vettel will leave ASAP, and expect Ricciardo in the Ferrari seat. Honda has to build a good engine for next year as someone has to challenge Mercedes and I am not sure Ferrari is capable of doing so.
I didn't bother watching .......... I'm getting ready for another 21 years of frustration with Ferrari
