Tdf or 812 ? I'd rather say 812 because of the timeline and the wheels. I find it beautiful , the livery doesn't fit my conservative "November sky of london" tastes but anyway that's a great One-off

I think the car uses the same basis bodyshell as the upcoming 812 "Spider". I suspect Ferrari having done the same with the P540 Superfast Aperta and the 599 SA Aperta.

    R&R costs rationalization ...

TDF is what everyone is saying. It does however have 812 SF wheels.

I am 100% positive that it is based off of the TDF.

It's based on an F12 tdf.
Smart and clever when factory let's special customers pay for the development of the new 812 Spider.

However, I'd want #1 and not #3 on the door.

Is the color an homage to a specific car?

Thanks for confirming my intuition. exactly what I was thinking. In fact Mister collins paid the R&D for the 812 Spider. Very smart and very clever

I don"t understand the wheels choice... why regular 812 wheels

Maybe JC loves the 'Turbine" design...

Front of the car will age very nicely, side view is gorgeous and the rear looks like a very weird Portofino. To each his own though, I'm sure he's very happy with the car.

I really like this one. Does everyone think the SP3JC has a power retractable roof? If so it would be great if someone could get a picture of what it looks like when the roof is closed. The area where the trunk is appears to be too narrow to fit a roof. Is the roof mechanism going to be like that of the 488 Spider or more like the Portofino?

I'm pretty sure it does have a soft top only in case of unexpected rain, like on the 550 barchetta. IMO it doesn't have a folding roof

I really like this one off, but I have to admit that I hate the side part where is the Ferrari shield, is vertical and to me looks very strange. That part is a bad copy of the 812 one's.

All they need from this SP3 is the windshield to put on another series of 499 812 Monza builds for USA customers.

How ironic Mr Collins could afford this SP3 by re-selling beautiful Ferrari automobiles...

I really want to like this but unfortunately I don’t. I find the side not sleek or taught enough. The rear is a bit odd but could live with it. The front is the best bit. The stance just doesn’t seem right to me.

TDF spider: YES! Overdone styling and tacky paintjob: NOPE!

But hey, his car, his money, his choice.

It’s almost natural see some 812SF lines on the SP3JC because the team leader designer of both project was the same person.
