Triple Layer Paint Pictures

There was a lot of talk earlier about Blu Halena Strato. The color exists at a claimed cost in excess of 100k USD. From a distance the color looks very dark like blu pozzi. Then up close the color appears as a rich bright blue with a lot of depth. However not worth it from what I saw in a very brief look.

Just as an observation Ferrari of New England seems to consistently have a fine selection of Ferrari models featuring special out of the ordinary paint colors. Rosso Maranello is one of the best examples of that theme there!

The picture doesn't capture the specialness of the paint on my monitor but my monitor is pretty crappy these days. I'm sure its stunning in person. Crazy turnstile. Is that at the factory or garage/storage?

I think the thing to do would be to order it in gloss and then just put a satin or matte clear bra on it. Reversible, protects.

 

Painting the entire car is one thing. Touch up is quite another. It can be done but not by your average painter.

 

Is this the same colour as Blu Helen?

I am considering a car with Blu Helen paint. It was £16k from the factory.

Bianco Italia just surpassed Bianco Fuji as my favourite colour of all time. Wow

You should consider Blu Pozzi paint that looks similar and is a dark non-metallic blue. Much quicker delivery time on your build order and more reasonable cost to.

 

Thanks but I am actually looking at a preloved V12 Lusso in the spec of Blu Helen exterior with A unique interior. She is almost knew and looks very interesting. I get to see her Tuesday and am hoping it will be love at first sight.

 

Even better as that would be a long drawn out process to spec the car and then wait for a build plus a special off site application of that paint color. That would not be painted at the Ferrari factory. Great find!

When you look at the car there is a plate in the car that lists all the options including colors and trim. All are listed with the option code and name.
There is also a foil sticker in the engine compartment that lists the name of the paint color. This will confirm the true details for the car you are looking at!

After Rosso Maranello on my 488 I picked up last year, I honestly have been hard pressed not to want to spec any other colors, I am absolutely in love with it . THe quality of the triple layer paint alone makes a huge difference.Roso Corsa metallic is also a very nice color with awesome depth.
