If you're looking for something bespoke, these folks are great. Am totally happy w/ the mats they did for my Cali.

I could use a new set for my Mondial 8, but have no idea where to go for them as well.

They did a nice set for my 328. I wanted to use them again for my Mondial but I found a set set of floor mats in the trunk after I got the car home.

Let us know. I could be cajoled into a nice set of mats if the company does good work.

Regarding floor mats - please be sure to secure them firmly at rear of mat. WHEN (not "if") the floor mat gets shoved forward it WILL depress the accelerator pedal.

Toyota Corp. writes a caution about this on every, repeat every document they print for their customers.

Please don't take my word for it: go crawl into your foot pedal tunnel to observe how EASILY you can have a 7,000 rpm problem that you can't control.

When this life-threatening event happens how long does it take to realize "it's the floor mat."

About 3 minutes - and the engine is screaming the entire time!

Please secure the back of your driver's side floor mat so it can't migrate forward at all!

There was a thread about this a couple yrs ago on this forum with a couple of suggestions re how some Mondi owners “anchor” their floor mats such that they don’t migrate forward.

Happened to me...at first I could not figure out what the idle was so high. I was glad when I saw the floor mat pressed on the accelerator and it was nothing serious.

No joke, I've never had a car do this before. Mine go forward all the time. I have to look do they supply the bottoms with baby oil or something?

I have another question. My car has 2 floor mats one on bottom with the heel pads and another on top. Is the one with the heel pads the actual floor mat? Or is there supposed to be another on top of it.

I believe the correct term for this floor mat sliding onto the accelerator pedal is "Italian Cruise Control". ;)
