    Hi all,

Eyebrow-raising auction description of the week must go to this 'barn find' 400 Auto (s/n 26791 - reg APG 56T), with a story that simply beggars belief. For posterity:

"THE STORY BEHIND THIS CAR IS I LOST THE KEYS 3 YEARS AFTER A NUT AND BOLT RESTORATION (I NEED MY ARSE KICKING FOR THIS) AND NEVER GOT AROUND TO DOING ANTHING ABOUT IT

THE CAR NOW REQUIRES FULL RESTORATION"

Some of the bidders do have a high profile, so one can assume that they know what they are doing. Price is already above £10,000 with quite a few days left before the auction ends. Just wondering about the final price, but all in all there is a market even for such a neglected car.
