I'm new to NJ and om in the central NJ area by Holmdel, I have a classic Ferrari and looking for some nice drives. Can anyone recommend some nice drives?

Drives with a destination would be great, like out to the country to get some apple pie at some mom and pop shop or some beach town or what not.

    Thanks.

Freehold here - welcome to Monmouth County! There are some local places as Flash notes, but I just tend to drive around the Colts Neck / Holmdel area (some nice tree lined roads) and/or do Cars and Coffee type events.

Welcome to NJ Turner. Somerset county here. I live up in Bedminster, and we have some great country roads around here. My parents live in Holmdel, and I can usually make the trip in about 40mins. Let me know if you want to get together for a ride.

Will do going to work on suspension (rebuild whole front end including steering rack) over the winter and get ready for spring.

    Welcome!
I often do a nice backcountry drive through Holmdel, Colts Neck, and Millstone to Tavern on The Lake in Heightstown. Nice outdoor spot for lunch.

Tinton Falls here. I always lament our lack of good drives in this area, especially if you’ve done them a few dozen time. But, at least for the first few they are fun.

You can find some decent roads and twisties in Colts Neck and further west. A must do route for a newbie IMO would be pick up Navesink River road from its most western terminus somehow, go east it’s full length. Enjoy the views of the homes and scenery. Some noted celebrities live along this road.

Follow a route from the end to route 36 south. Go ovef the Highlands Bridge and enjoy the view of the ocean as you come of the eastern end of it. Pretty cool.

Make s right and go into Sandy Hook. Go the full length of it and take in some sights along the way. Nice road but behave your speed.

Exit Sandy Hook south and stay on 36 through Sea Bright and down to Pier Village in Long Branch. Maybe lunch there on the Boardwalk. You could stop at McCloones rum runner in Ses Bright as well. Great views of the river from the second floor bar.

After pier village I’d head north on 36 and go across the Rumson bridge going home. Cruise through Rumson and maybe stop in Red Bank for coffee, browsing etc. before heading home.

Have fun and welcome. Great area, enjoy.
