I’ve had my car down in the DFW area for its annual fluid change. While driving home, I’ve noticed a rattle inside the cockpit near the left buttress attachment point. Any ideas where I should look besides the obvious? Only does it over a bump or under acceleration or slowing down. Sounds like two body panels rubbing. Not bad, but a nuisance

Never mind, it’s gone now. Drove it a couple of blocks on a brick paved street and no more issues. No clue. Everything’s tight as a drum

I have heard other people speak of this in relation to the engine cover.

The plastic covers for the steering column are often noise makers in late model Ferraris.

It’s something behind. Nothing there under back shelf so maybe in fuel tank cower. Must see there from a trunk

I figured out what was wrong . The left buttress where it joins the main body is slightly loose. If it starts making that noise, I pull over and grab the buttress and lightly pull on it. No more issues

They do work loose, mine did, but it’s easily tightened

Ferrari Service managers have said that CF panels tend to also squeak and create unwanted annoying cabin noise.

Maybe but there is no CF on behind shelf.
