Large crowd at Pismo Beach Cars and Coffee today. My friend Richard Cole brought his manual shift 2008 599 GTB. My 78 308 next to it. Fyi, I am looking for a S159B distributor for a spare to rebuild. Image Unavailable, Please Login Image Unavailable, Please Login Image Unavailable, Please Login

Picked up my car after trying to fix oil leaks lead to a full engine rebuild. Lol Running lean so it must be breathing better. Some experimenting to do. Dry as a bone now. Good to have it home. Image Unavailable, Please Login Image Unavailable, Please Login
I also know how good it feels to be oil leak free recently !! P.S love the colour of your car Pete !!
On Thursday, actually: put on my new registration sticker, drove over to AAA and topped off the air in all the tires, including the spare (which really needed it!).
Refinished the front valance finally! Rock chips were bothering my ocd. Now its time to remove those big rectangular marker lights and replace the orig euro style. Image Unavailable, Please Login Image Unavailable, Please Login Image Unavailable, Please Login Image Unavailable, Please Login

Today I walked by my car, currently sleeping in my son's garage. He has been hounding me to get it back on the road and volunteered to take the engine out for me. We swapped my TR4 and the Ferrari between his garage and mine then he spent a couple of weeks pulling the exhaust and other things off the car so the engine can come out. Then he found a new girl friend and the project came to a screeching halt!! I spent several months in physical therapy for a pinched nerve/ bad disc in my lower back which prevented my from crawling around the engine bay. Much better now so I guess I better get to work on the car before it really gets cold.
Decided to take my '84 out for a little warm up today. The Peninsula had crystal blue skies, not a cloud in sight, and a comfortable 60 degrees all day. Martin, this time I’m paying a younger fellow to twist his back. I thought about doing it myself but then I remembered the steering fun and that plus it’s very cold here now and my new garage is not heated. So when it is finished I will not only have to worry about where to park the car to protect the paint but now have additional worry about what’s on my shoes getting on the new carpet. Do you think this can cause an anxiety issue? Sent from my iPhone using FerrariChat.com mobile app
Hi Robert, I know of folks who carry an extra pair of shoes with them and change shoes whenever they enter or leave the car Best from Germany Martin
11 1/2 4E. American These are 11 tight but I can work the pedals. My other shoes cover two pedals at a time. Sent from my iPhone using FerrariChat.com mobile app
That's quite big for our pedals. And I thought, that my size is at the upper limit. I have 9 1/2 and for longer drives a pair of tight fitting 'Momo Corse' suede racing boots. Fit like a glove. Incredibly soft and comfortable. (sometimes I even wear them for organ playing, though barefoot works the best ) Image Unavailable, Please Login Best from Germany Martin
Nice. I gave up trying to use standard shoes for driving the Ferrari. These work but I lose blood supply if I wear them longer than a couple hours without a beak.
