All I can say is that where I worked, on the last workday before the holiday (which would have been Friday), people began leaving right after lunch and by mid-afternoon, the office would be nearly deserted. I'm not saying that's what happened to you, but it is a distinct possibility. Most offices will not be fully staffed again until January 2.

Try magazine shops at railroad stations from bigger towns like Zürich, they often have an offer of international magazines.
I found the Enzo magazine here in Germany at a railroad station magazine shop in a smaller town (70.000).

    Or at the airport.

For decades I have tried to stay away from any railroad station, anywhere. I am a car guy and the "environment and people" in and around railroad stations is not to my liking.
Airport yes, of course, and I live just about 15 to 20 mins from ZRH.

Unfortunately you are right about rr stations.
And poor enough that in countries like Swiss or Germany the situation is like you described.

I live near Lake Constance, so I live "ruralized", no big town (Friedrichshafen, Ravensburg are the biggest), but same situation with alcoholics, .....

    Another option :
Ask your magazine dealer if he can add the magazine in his portfolio.
Should be no problem for a magazine shop.

ZRH is one of my favorite airports. We've connected there many times on our way to Italy. I never mind a long layover at ZRH.

RR stations = dirt, dirt, dirt, drug people, alcoholics, police everywhere, military, horrible people, homeless.

There is no such thing as "your magazine dealer". That doesn't exist in Switzerland.

I have subscriptions for about 40 car magazines (from all over the world) and with the one exception (Enzo mag) all work quite well and arrive in more or less acceptable shape, condition and more or less "on time".

I fear, that the publishers of the Enzo magazine do not manage it in the future, so it will be the only magazine you will have problems.

    It's a shame.
I also wanted to place an abo directly last spring/summer, because it's a very very nice magazine.
But then I read the feedback from some people here, paid the subscription and got no magazines.

If I can help you (I could buy it here for you when I pick up my example), contact me.

    Have a nice time

    Thanks for your offer Daniel.
Fortunately/unfortunately I spend enough time at airports in between my travels and should be able to buy the mag there.

I have subscribed to countless Magazines from all over the world , and in the last 25 years never have I had the kinds of problems as with ENZO Magazine.
One issue never came. Two issues came months after the newsstand, and only one came "timely".
Still waiting on #6 ...... while it is quickly selling out at my local B & N.

I don't get it. I'm a charter subscriber to Octane and I don't recall ever having a fulfillment problem....and that's about 15 years. Enzo comes from the same publisher and the same U.S. distributor, so why the problems?

Gentlemen, I am living in Belgium and I am subscribed to the Enzo magazine through Newsstand in the UK from the first publication. To date - I'll keep my fingers crossed - I did not have any problem! I hope this can be of any support.
PS Not sure what will happen after the Brexit :)

Just bumping the question. I saw it at B&N the other day for $13.99 plus sales tax. I still haven't received my subscription copy.

    Anybody else?

Today (9th January 2019) I received Enzo magazine, issue #6, for the second time now, same issue.
These guys must be totally lost, they either send nothing at all or then send everything twice……...and it takes four months from UK to Switzerland………...probably by carrier pigeon….
    What an unbelievable mess.

Maybe they should just kill it and move the Ferrari content into Octane. This is a pretty large publishing company, not some guy desktop publishing in his garage. I don't understand how their subscription fulfillment can be such a disaster.

    Amazing how magazine publishing works.

I bought Enzo Issue 6 in London. In mid August. I liked the magazine, so I subscribed right after I bought it.

My first issue arrived last week(!)

    Yes, it was Issue 6.

I subscribed after buying Issue 4 from a newsstand here in Hong Kong. Aside from a letter to confirm subscription, I have not received anything. Wish I would've read this thread before subscribing, but being 2019 I didn't think I had to do due diligence before subscribing for a magazine!

So after all the hand wringing and teeth gnashing, I succomed today and purchased a copy of Enzo #6. Yes I know, I AM a subscriber, and this is probably their diabolical way of increasing sales, but I did it anyway. $13.99. BFD.
I have to say, I’ve read every copy of Cavallino and Forza, yet this magazine is indeed something special. I love it. I may be in the minority, but I was truly entertained with the whole issue. Can’t always say that about Forza or Cavallino. Like I said, I collect them all.
So there you have it. At some point maybe i’ll be fortunate enough to get my subscriber copy, but for $14, I don’t GAS.
Probably get my subscriber copy tomorrow.
