    I have a 05 f430
    Car’s transmission is stuck on auto mode unable to disengage
    Has anyone else had a similar experience

    If the auto button is stuck on you can take it out amd disconnect the wire.
    Then put i back ton gether and pull a paddle it should release the auto.
    I believe it will also do this if the car is shut off so likely the button is either sticking on or shorted out.
    You. Can also test button when you have it apart

    If your ask Ng if others have had this problem i have seen it a few times but not spcificslly on f430s.
    Quite common if you spill something on it like coke is what i have seen over the years
