Ok Guys, Got off the phone with Cam at CNC who would be allowing us to take up their lot. Thank you Haig for the venue offer. I have decided to keep this Scud/16M only, and perhaps if it's successful we can open up to all special editions. Meet will be at 8AM sunday the 6th of January at CNC motors: 1018 E 20th St, Upland, CA 91784 8-9 chat and whatever and then take off for a drive up GMR/Azusa Canyons Ending with lunch at Legends Diner in Glendora. I hope to see a nice large group. I'll have a few photographers. I have been getting a lot of requests from general public to come by and see the show. I am ok with that, a bunch of Scuds in one spot is a special sight. Please let me know your thoughts. I'll be sharing details on Instagram (SCUUUUD). Please spread the word! Look forward to this meet.
Shant, I guess I need to go borrow, buy or get a free ride in a Scud to be with the group. LMAO. I will remember this when I plan my 2019 Arrowhead or the Desert drive. You will be invited but you must agree take the strips off your Scud. LOL. Happy New Year, you all be safe!
Haig, you have to come regardless. Now then, having said that, I want you to know that I worked hard...lied, cajoled and threatened one of the likely attendees but Ms. m2g2 (the Boss) refused to give up her co-pilot's seat. Sorry
Hi guys. The iOS app won’t let me add attachments for some reason but let’s see if this works. Please share around. Image Unavailable, Please Login
Haig is an honorary Scud. With the volume to prove it Sent from my iPhone using FerrariChat.com mobile app
Agree Haig should come... I just scouted and drove GMR from east to west in the Speciale (the car is phenomenal, review shortly). The road does have some gravel on the south side so going east to west is better....you will hear pebbles on your undertray and you should definitely have clearbra or blue tape. I love GMR when it is clear roads, because it is tight with a lot of on-camber turns. It is about a 30 min drive through it and drops into Glendora. Looking forward to it guys! Sent from my 16M
I’m down to pound. Thanks for the scout. and I’m happy you’re liking the spec. Between that the scud and the CS I think they cover the spectrum of amazing true Farari cars. Sent from my iPhone using FerrariChat.com mobile app
Thanks Eddie for the scouting trip. If it rains between now and the 6th we will need to run another scouting mission...the rain always shakes loose some rocks and often times some sizable boulders. We are still out of state in the very frozen north. Can't wait to get home.
We missed our normal weekly lunches due to your busy schedule and travel. Be safe and look forward to seeing you both.
Eddie is the Road Doctor with plenty of real cosmetic surgery experience. If he is recommending Blue Tape or Clear Bra or Bra of any kind, one should take his recommendation seriously.
Tape doesn’t stick on the scud! Darn ceramic coating Sent from my iPhone using FerrariChat.com mobile app
It's supposed to rain next Saturday night and Sunday. Still a week out so you never know. Here's a pic from a Scud gathering I put together about 6 years ago. Image Unavailable, Please Login
Wow that’s a lot of Scuds! 20+? Let’s keep an eye on the weather, if it rains, likely will have to change routes...but still at least meet (just means my top will be up). Or else push to a following date. Sent from my 16M
I love it. I drove thru the desert all day and came back and power washed the car and it looked like glass Sent from my iPhone using FerrariChat.com mobile app
