    The auctioneer yelled "$2M" a few times before bidding began, so probably that was the reserve price.

    I hadn't noticed. I thought the ask on the Crave Luxury Auto listing before the auction was $1.75 million.

    For that amount you buy a normal F40 and a 488GTE here in Europe :)

    Says $650k spent on the conversion. A regular F40 with that kind of mileage seems to be $1.2-1.4 mils in the US. So if it sold at the high bid at 1.35 mil, the seller gets none of the cost of conversion back?!
