Isn't it usually only confirmed a few weeks in advance not many months

Now the F1 schedule is final look for a clear weekend at the end of their season eg Oct 20 or Nov 10

There was speculation here last month it would be back at Mugello

I also suspect that it will be in Mugello, again!!! While I like the track very much, I am sick and tired of racing in Mugello and it is definitely not the best choice in terms of timing. Last year's finals in Monza was a disaster with weather. With so much rain and cold it was definitely not much fun for drivers and spectators. Why can't they do it somewhere in Spain or better in Abu dhabi like that did 5 yrs ago?

I wasn't at Monza in 2018 but In recent years I thought Daytona was best, followed by Abu Dhabi. My understanding was that the Finali was going to be held in Italy in alternate years, seems like that idea has been abandoned.

personally I find it quite normal that the finali mondiali be in Italy and not in the rest of the world, it is a big party made by an Italian company with these supporters

    Mugello again...

    Finali Mondiali return to Mugello
    Maranello | 9 January 2019
This year the Ferrari Finali Mondiali will return to Mugello, where the 2017 edition was held. The event for all Prancing Horse fans and enthusiasts from 24 to 27 October, will see the last races of the three series of the Ferrari Challenge in addition to the sessions of the special XX and F1 Clienti Programmes.

Intense year. The Mugello event will be the final act of a year packed with meetings that kicks off on 15 to 17 February with the Ferrari Challenge Europe, which makes its debut in Bahrain, with exciting night races on the Sakhir track. The North American series starts in Austin on the weekend of 8-10 March, while the Ferrari Challenge Asia-Pacific gets going the following week in Melbourne, alongside the season’s opening Formula 1 Grand Prix. Each championship consists of seven rounds of two races each. In 2019, the new local series, the Ferrari Challenge UK, has a calendar of four meetings with Race-1 on Saturday and Race-2 on Sunday.

F1 Clienti and XX Programmes. The other two Corse Clienti activities, F1 Clienti and XX Programmes, like the Ferrari Challenge Europe, will open their year in Bahrain from 14 to 17 February and will then wend their way around some of the world’s most beautiful tracks, such as Laguna Seca, venue of the North American Ferrari Racing Days, Suzuka and the Nürburgring. The legendary German circuit will host a very special activity for XX Programmes customers who, on Monday 8 July, will have a chance to drive their own laboratory cars on the so-called Green Hell of the Nordschleife, the 20 km plus track that hosted the German Formula 1 Grand Prix until 1976.

Track is very nice for sure. But there is nothing to do around Mugello unless you stay in Florence and drive back and forth 45min or so each way. Plus weather is very risky at that time.

the circuit of mugello offers two advantages, it is a circuit that belongs to FERRARI and it is a beautiful trace where the fan can see the trace everywhere, after Florence remains a very beautiful city with very good table and beautiful store and it's a nice circuit for pilots

3 years ago we had beautiful weather all weekend in mugello, 25 degrees and it was in november, Abu Dhabi, as nice as the weather and track is, it just attracts 0 specators. and there is also nothing around unless you drive 30min to the city. For many of the italian fans (and ferrari employees and families and friends!) it is the only opportunity to get in touch with the whole experience. everyone who has been at the Finali 2015 in Mugello should remember the fantastic atmosphere.

And with the Imola Weekend 3 weeks before it could get very challenging in terms of Logistics to send all the Cars (XX, F1 Clienti and Challenge) down to the Middle East or somewhere else via Seafreight).

But maybe we can go back to Pergusa like in 1997? :D

Nothing to do around Mugello? Get some good food and beautiful views in Scarperia, which is a stone's throw away from Mugello! It's just around the corner.

Been there, done that... at least a dozen times!! It is definitely not the best time to visit Tuscany and not the best time to be at the paddock for long hours when it is raining and freezing cold.
