Hi all, delighted to share a few pics of my new arrival in the uk. Yes it’s red so apologies for posting pics of yet another Rosso car!!. I opted for Nero DS twin stripes with Grigio Coburn for the centre. Interior is all alcantara in blue Scuro ( which is actually much more grey than blue in the flesh - but is darker than the new charcoal which is a pretty light shade now). Grigio Scuro stitching , headrest horse and interior trim finished it off. I opted for all gloss carbon outside and Matt carbon interior. Front lift, standard wheels in Grigio. We did the spec at the Atelier in maranello so opted also to add the Atelier script and prancing horse in Grigio on the carbon door sill trim. Have to say I am delighted with how it has turned out! Congratulations on the beautiful car! I’m still not sure about the matte carbon - it looks a lot lighter on pictures than the glossy carbon and sometimes like silver paint. How is it in real life?
Love it! Blue Scuro alcantara is a hidden secret. I think people shy away from it because "blue" is in the name. It's really just a beautiful charcoal with a hint of blue that's not dissimilar to other manufacturer's charcoal. Blue Scuro leather is much more blue - surprising how much it varies from the alcantara version. Congrats - enjoy!
Very nicely done, well done, enjoy her in good health and speed. I also took blu scuro interior for my PA Sent from my iPhone using FerrariChat
Yes I agree. Initially the name put me off but seeing the fabric in natural light alongside the charcoal and nero alcantara convinced me it was much more grey than blue and would work with a Rosso exterior. The AN Geneva show car from last year was in the studio when I did my spec and blue scuro really goes great with that exterior colour. Agree with you on the leather - blue scuro leather is really blue and very different from the alcantara. Worth checking these all out in person in natural light if you can as the computer renderings are not particularly representative of the real colour IMO. Sent from my iPhone using FerrariChat
Yes the matt carbon is definitely a shade lighter than the gloss but it’s def more grey than silver. For this model I actually think the matt is a nice contrast to all the gloss exterior you could have. Purely personal preference though. I did think about doing gloss carbon inside too but finally opted for matt to be a closer match to the interior fabric colour and the instrument binnacle top part only available in matt and I wanted all the interior to be the same. Both work well IMO so it’s all purely personal preference. Sent from my iPhone using FerrariChat
Pista seen in Bordeaux dealership (France). Sent from my iPhone using FerrariChat View attachment 2652884 View attachment 2652885
I would if I could.......In typical ferrari fashion I only received the first of the usual 3 production pics this time - It’s the body in white one but tbh that could be the same shot for every Pista they build. I’m still hopeful that the final pic may arrive at some point but not so far! Sent from my iPad using FerrariChat.com mobile app
Yep truly awful. The front sensors are just icing on the cake. Just when you thought it couldnt get worse..
