sorry if this is a repost but i just happened to be flipping through the channels: https://watch.motortrend.com/tv-shows/car-fix/full-episodes/575-exhaust 16 min and 42 seconds approx they put on an aftermarket exhaust which i have never heard of (which is odd) that starts with a letter F. They replace everything from the headers back and dyno results jumped from 437 with oem exhaust to 490 with the aftermarket. i was pretty impressed with 50 hp and no other mods. anyone know what exhaust they reference?
See this thread. https://www.ferrarichat.com/forum/threads/575m-exhaust-replacement-on-carfix-tv-show.569512/
Ha so much for my searching skills....apologize for the redundancy. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
That is an amazing increase in hp from a naturally aspirated car!!! Many many applause for the creator of that exhaust!!! Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
Awesome!! Any idea if they make 456 stuff? Wld love to do a high quality boutique offering rather than run of the mill big boys. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
Taz do you know if Fabio has built and installed a system on a 550 yet I spoke to him during his development of the 575:system a few years ago and he was looking for a 550 to test it on but with me being in the USA and him being in italy I did not want to be the test case.. the system should really wake up the car.....makes a575 sound like an F12 .... Please post how the install goes and your impression of the system in general LarryH
I have reached out to them for my 575.. will see what the kit costs etc. and get it installed! I absolutely love driving mine!
I just ordered my set from Fabio. Only needed the headers, cats, and connecting pipes. Already have OEM straight center pipes and Superamerica HGTC exhaust.
Be curious once you gents get yours installed on the commentary. I was surprised by the amount of burbling and popping that occurs. Most of it in a good way however it needs controlled. I used the valve controller as a last resort
Fabio's standard 200 series cats for Maranellos. Full hook-up to the emissions system so no problems.
Ah, very interesting. I went catless with Fabio’s headers and figured the burbles and pops were because of that. But my other thought is these cars really need a tune because of how rich they run, especially in the midrange, and the rich tune is causing a lot of unburnt fuel to combust after the headers. With the higher flow of Fabio’s system the car is dumping even more fuel, and my theory is Ferrari tightened up the tunes a lot with Motronic 7.1.1.
