I have a friend that bought a '86 328 new in Italy so I guess it is a euro. For health reasons he can not drive anymore and it has been sitting for a year. Red with the removable top. The timing belt was changed and not driven since. Good original shape. Another friend wants to put it on bring your trailer. Just wanted FC members to get first crack at it. Car is near Palm Desert CA. I think it has 80K on the odometer. I have no idea what it is worth if anyone can give me a ball park number.

    I'll estimate $58-65K.

Good original shape at 80K miles means a lot of things.... just not enough for an estimate.

80k miles is nothing, if it’s a clean car, has all the tools, manuals, record history, and no major issues, then I would say $70k at a minimum.

I can find a 328 with half those miles for ~$70K all day long.

Question (since the OP is asking): Do Euro 3X8's have a valuation that is different than their equivalent U.S. models these days?

This question depends on if I’m buying or selling. :)

Yes, but other factors affect valuation as well.

    Is that odometer in kilometers?

thank you for your opinions. In the end it is worth what someone will pay for it. I have to dig it out of the corner of his garage and have it detailed. I never really looked but I assume it is miles. My euro 360 says kilometers but unfortunately it registers miles. I think they have to do it in order to bring it into the USA.

^ which is why I asked

It is likely that 80,000 miles showing is really more like 50,000 miles

As a data point, my 86 Euro 328 with about 65K mi (I did the conversion for everyone :) was appraised about a year ago (Feb 2018, for insurance repair purposes) at $92K.
