What I'd like to know is how people clean that little section of instrument panel and the inside of the windscreen where the two almost touch! I can't get my hands in there :(

microfiber towel, one hand left of the instrument nacelle, one hand right of the instrument nacelle. Move left and right, up and down the towel: that's my best

Yes, but getting any splatters off the windscreen is difficult with the sideways action...first world problems eh!

I use that gizmo they suggest in the video. Stoner makes it (Stoner Clean and Reach Tool) and it is available on Amazon or Walmart for $14 or at Griots Garage for $25.

IMHO. The BEST way to clean any glass is with a squeegee. Inside and out.

    Good tip. Thanks for sharing.

One thing anyone with a 308/328 (and for that matter 288’s, F40’s or any Ferrari from that era) should also avoid is placing wiping or scrubbing pressure on the delicate black paint trim that lines the very outsr portion of the inner windshield. Over the years this paint trim tends to flake off and it’s virtually impossible to touch-up with complete removal of the windshield, which is an overlay radical solution.

So true. Very awkward position for your hand. They try to put on leather conditioner on that pod without getting it on the windshield...ugh!!!

Wrap a microfiber towel around the end of a ruler.

The AMMO detailing vids on YouTube have a good technique for cleaning windows that helps with the slope of the glass.

I've used the triangle tool for several years now. It also comes from "As seen on TV". Rather than use their microfiber pad, I just lay a microfiber towel over the end. Either Stoner's or Windex. Works great.

Same here... plastic handle triangle thing. Towel over the end. I use Sprayway cleaner though

I thought that the dash is vinyl not leather unless specifically ordered in leather from the factory.

The instrument pod is leather. The rest of dash is vinyl.

That doesn’t sound right. I thought all vinyl on the early cars and then all leather as an option on the later cars.

I wrap a micro-fiber towel around a plastic kitchen spatula. The angle of the handle makes it very easy to get in there.
