Any experience buying from Green308GTSi on ebay?

As a blast from the past... Very poor. Took a couple of weeks to ship and no communication. Purchased a press kit from him but received one that was an entire model generation off from what was purchased. No response to attempted inquiries to resolve. I'd recommend to stay away.

 

Ive purchased quite a few things from him with no issue.

 

Well thought I would chime in. I purchased two bits of Ferrari literature and they were in Exquisite condition as described. However the first one went smooth the second one had some communication error but it turns out he was simply out of town and got back to me two or three days later but I would definitely recommend just be patient

 

In my case, I'd argue that 2 wks without response to the initial inquiry stating an issue with the transaction is generously patient.

To his credit, the incorrect item is an excellent condition example of an incorrect item.

 

Two weeks is LUDICROUS. However one reason I like eBay so much, you always have the eBay guarantee if you can't resolve it with the vendor eBay will basically make good on the item so you at least get your money back. Although that process can take weeks.

 

He's a long time member here, and I have met him personally at FCA events, with his car (Platinum winner) .

I can't speak to his sales business but I would say hang in there with him and perhaps this thread will gather his attention????

I made the mistake of buying from this guy on eBay and he will NOT respond to any emails. So far I'm out money and no product and no contact.

 

Yeah, I never ended up with a response of any kind from him. Even after ebay found the case in my favor and refunded $, I reached out to get the incorrect merch back to him... Nada. It seems his ebay feedback has fallen off a cliff within the past 6 months. I wonder if something happened to the guy.

 

I bought numerous things from him on Ferrarichat in 2018 and also off of eBay. No issues at all. Smooth transactions. He is out of PA. Sorry I can’t remember his info but I would buy from him again. Not sure why there is a drop off on communication for you all now. Hopefully he is ok without any medical emergencies. I’m sure the PA owners will know who he is and how to contact.

Barry Cross. I've bought stuff from him and it's always been excellent. He packs well and ships fast. I've also met him at FCA events including the 2014 annual meet in Virginia.

 

Now you have me worried . . . .

I'm out the money but it pisses me off that I have to go though the trouble to deal with a problem with this guy when everyone else on eBay has been so easy.

 

That is crap. He must be in the ER or jail because he was super responsive with me buying different pieces of his stuff off eBay and here on F-chat.
