Take a pic of the brake pedal.... one of the best places to confirm mileage.

At the advertised mileage - it should look brand new.

At the VIN check’s mileage - it will show a notable wear in the rubber

New pedal pads are only $27.00. I replace them regularly.

I watched an auction a couple of years ago. I think it was Mecum. The seller was on stage and he would not let the car go for the highest bid which was till below his reserve. He was adamant. Then literally 5-6 Mecum bullies surrounded him, including the fat dude and his kid, and they pressured him for about three minutes until he caved and let the car go.

There is a lot of theater that goes on at Mecum. Dana plays to the crowd and the TV a lot. Would not surprise me if that was choreographed.

What part of the auto sales business isn't?

Every Ferrari dealer I worked for the service department had a far higher actually, average level of education than the rest of the business and our Christmas parties were very segregated. Service occupied one side of the building and sales and management on the other.

The car doesnt really look in bad shape, however it is certainly not in 3500 mile shape. Ill be back there on Saturday so Ill try and check it out again. The white/white color combo inmo looks fantastic.

I actually like it alot. Much more than I thought I would. It drives fantastic. Super tight, no shakes, no rattles, good power, comfortable. Idles smooth as glass.

130k for a car with supposedly 4K miles is not that high. Really curious about the seats lol

I just happen to wake up at the point where this car had a promo and then a few minutes later went across the block.

143K for an '88 with no recent service. Said car was started regularly, whatever that means and had services. If it was a gem I doubt the owner would sell it at BJ. Sheepskin covers on seats, not strange seats.

I don't follow the TR market, but that poor bastard that bought it and sort of mothballed it, got crushed.

Saw that car earlier today. Had two holes filled in on the pillar where the single mirror should have been mounted. Totally obvious and not done well at all. Hope it turns out well for the buyer.
