The best and only way to smooth out the edges on Cousins is to cut him and try with a different QB. He stinks, and will NEVER win a game of any significance, let alone a playoff game (never mind the SB cause he will never get to one other then buying a ticket and watching from the stands)
I enjoyed all but the Pats game, I thought they were competitive games. When I saw the end score of the Pats game (stopped watching when it was 41-14) I wondered if the Pats put in their 3rd string players? Well they may have been in the game but it sure seems like they quit at some point there.
You're consistent Ace! I like that. https://www.vikings.com/video/burleson-keenum-is-a-higher-caliber-qb-than-cousins-20392464 T
Which is where? Funny thing about being at Kelly's is that there were about a dozen people from Iowa watching the Iowa Hawkeyes basketball game, moreso than watching the NFL game...
https://mosirishpub.com/ Locations mostly in Houston, but also a few in Milwaukee. It's in Cypress, suburb of Houston. It's just down the street from my house. The father and son I mentioned earlier that were annoying me, asked to watch the Rockets game, but everyone else was cheering on the Saints.
Interesting. http://www.espn.com/nfl/story/_/id/25787559/quarterback-paxton-lynch-signs-seattle-seahawks
^Saw that this AM. High round draft pick, he should get another chance or two to fail. More likely, this is the beginning of his career as a 2nd/3rd string QB. Not a bad job if you can get it, in the big scheme of things...T
I am getting very excited about this Sunday's games. I have been thinking. If KC is able to pull off the win, we need to look at two games that were significant: 1) the NE-MIA game, when MIA scored with no time on the clock on a flea-flicker. If that doesn't happen, NE wins and gets home field advantage. 2) the BAL-KC game, when Mahomes threw a 25 or 30 yard bomb to Tyreek Hill on 4th and 15 or 20 late in the 4th quarter that lead them to tie and eventually win in OT - if they don't convert this play, KC loses the game, and NE gets home field advantage If just one of these two games ended differently, then KC has to travel to NE and you can bet the farm that NE wins. KC's only chance at winning this game is that they have home field....but, I am still going to take Brady and the Pats. Hard not to. I think KC will make it close, but will fall just short of making enough plays.
Agreed, and the wily old veteran QB vs. the next wave of potentially-great QBs add another layer of intrigue. T
Boys OC Linehan bites the Big Burrito. Jerry fired him it was announced today. I guess 23rd best offense wasn’t good enough. Tom should be happy.
Meh. Perhaps the best result from our mini-run in the playoffs was the emergence of Dak. Is it good for a young QB - one who they are likely going to invest $$$$ in - to learn a new system. Whomever they get will hopefully be the type to mold his system to the players he has, rather than the other way around...T
Point of order. Burrito = little burro. Therefore, Big Burrito = big little burro = burro "George Carlin: The term Jumbo Shrimp has always amazed me. What is a Jumbo Shrimp? I mean, it's like Military Intelligence- the words don't go together, man." T
Don't remind me. We happened to be in Rome during that game. We found this dive bar in a basement (ironically named Highlander) that had the game. We were about 12 fans in a small room while next to us in a larger room were extremely loud fans watching some stupid soccer, I mean football, game. I couldn't believe we let this happen.
Haha. Interesting story the other day. Steven Jones defending his dad. Says JJ cares more about winning a Super Bowl than money! https://sportsday.dallasnews.com/dallas-cowboys/cowboys/2019/01/17/cowboys-vp-stephen-jones-laughable-think-jerry-jones-cares-money-winning-another-super-bowl T
