So I accidentally dropped my wedding ring into the oil filler on my 575. My wife is furious.

I assured her that the ring will come out the exhaust as most poops with babies.

We have been revving the engine in the garage. The doors are closed as it is cold outside and we both are light headed.

I am at the exhaust with a baseball glove.

I need Taz, the expert, to post that is true.

I know that throwing a ring means different things, but I also know that the moon landing was faked.

    Will my ring come out?

I want my 575 to poop

If the ring does not come out tonight, I am going to stick a power washer in the oil filler and get it out. I figure some soap and dishwasher detergent will work it out. No problem. Thanks guys

It might break the “ring” lands on it’s journey out, though.
And mar the “diamond” pattern on the cylinder walls.

We keep gunning the engine. It is cold outside as we keep the doors closed. I am getting dizzy

I would check the oil filters :) Probably your marriage to your Maranello is stronger than the other one now...

Filters? Is there more than one on the car?

My mechanic has only been changing one for the last few years.

Why is this funny? This is seriously a bad situation. All I want is the car to poop out the ring. I am sure a good engine flush will work, but all I wanted was advice

Jeez, and you guys help other peoples

On a side note. I used bleach and ammonia to clean my leather seats yesterday.

I got a headache, but more importantly my tan leather is now streaked.

Any suggestions to make the seats tan again? It is now looking “tiger” striped tan and white

So I got out the power washer. I used yellow at first, then the red one. I ran it good through the engine until it cut off. Like winter a boat. Simple

Is there a way to fix paint when the power washer cuts to metal? I got a few spots that need touch

Give it good enema. Use whatever comes out along with the ring to touch up those seats... :)

You might try milk of magnesia in the air cleaners before submitting the poor thing to a good colon cleansing.

Air filters? What is that? Air is air, why would you want to filter it?

I figured if ferrari is so expensive they can run on regular air. My mechanic has been selling me bottles of special air for years.

You mean I can run my car on regular air?

I have been carrying these bottles around in my trunk for years. He fills them up. Says they release special air over time that gets sucked into that gas.

That is what makes it go fast. Ferrari air. It is not so expensive. Like $45 bucks a pint.

Thing is, I can only find it from my technician. He says it is proprietary from Ferrari.

Any one have a source for aftermarket air?

I need it red as other colours do not fit.

You should try the exhaust on the other side , it might come out of there.

If you rub gently in a certain spot on the torque tube you might induce a convulsion that could dislodge your wife's ring and allow it to pass.

Kinda tough to find just the right spot but may be worth a try.

Sorry to hear this Fou, I had the same problem years ago (with g/f not wife, which made it worse; neither knew...). When it came out it was in at least 12 pieces! And noisy! OMG! Smokey afterwards too....
