If you compare from prices a few years ago, yes but then again it is still 60% higher than what an average F430 goes for.

I guess if you add the 10k for year different and 10k for not being red. Then you are back to where it should be a 2009 red with less than 10k mileage ..high 180s 190

A low mile 09 is probably still a $200k car. The 430 Scuderia incorporated MS's input during development, adding to the lore and desirability of the model.

Wasn’t this the one known to have been in a serious prang? Was mentioned here on the forum somewhere:

The interior is also light gray with a light gray steering wheel. I'm sure this was a factor too.

On the plus side, it also had a factory rear CF diffuser. I still say "well bought".

It's a storied example, and unfortunately wasn't not presented very honestly/transparently. Been seeing more and more storied cars being listed as "clean carfax examples" lately...a storied le mans blue cs that flew off the road was recently listed as "clean carfax" at Barrett-Jackson, and even prior to that it was also listed as "clean" at CNC and so on.

prospective buyers, don't cheap out on a good ppi...carfax means diddly squat! Buy safe out there.

What was the story? They did the interior sticky switches but didn’t do the R switch, how appropriate...lol
I remember a few years ago just before the bubble there was another storied Scud (not sure it was this one) asking for around 160-170 also...

my notes read: timing and ac belts blew out, under carriage damage and clutch/f1 transmission issues.

My thoughts on the topic: A Scud selling for $160K means one of two things either there was no reserve (HUGE RED FLAG) or the reserve was set low enough that the car still sold at $160K. For a Scud (even with a slightly tarnished history, I'd say $160K is fair). There are currently 31 Scuderias (not including 16Ms) on sale in the U.S at an averaged asking price of $197,490. Listed miles average at 11,875 miles. (This is accurate as of December 2018). [I can share the data i've collected]. Overall range is $168,168-$237,900.

At 16K miles, I'd say that car would be worth $178-$180,000. So safe to assume "you get what you pay for". To sell for a 20K deficit, it either had some on-going issues or a "more than minor" accident on its history.

Or someone was in the right place at the right time.
IMO BAT is NOT the place to get the best selling price. Its like selling between retail and wholesale.
    A 512 BBi just sold for 190K.
    Now that was a steal.

100% agreed about right place at right time. I was more so focused on the seller than the buyer in regards to willingness to let go at $160K. Although, on the flip side, the cars move relatively slow unfortunately when selling and BAT's 7-day sale is attractive. And yes, definite steal on a 512 BBi for that price. I wish my bank account was at the right place at that time haha!

Yes, I believe that car has 56k miles, no CCB. if I'm not mistaken she has seen plenty of track time.
