who knows. many dealers place adds nonstop all over as a means of free advertisement. A few actually told me they did not want to actually sell them at lower cost they were after advertising but if someone offerd thier high asking price they would.

Looking at the market, and acknowledging the fact that these cars have crazy low miles, I’d say they are worth $85 - $90k. The ‘91 maybe worth slightly more because it’s a more evolved year.

My thoughts as well. It's not really the best example that serious collectors would want, so it shouldn't be priced as one.

Same tactic as regular car dealers; opposite example, they'll have a very low-priced vehicle on their website. But when you get there, they'll say, "Oh, sorry, that's been sold. But we have this.". Much higher priced of course.

All it takes is one guy with massive disposable income that loves the car and wants a time capsule. That's how MG rolls. They will sit on the car for years if needed. I think they often pull them off market for a while and resurface again later

I’d put it at $155k-$165k PPI and major service dependent. That car had better have PERFECT compression and leakdown numbers for that low of claimed milage. It is stupid easy to disconnect the speedometer sending unit at the gearbox. The price they are asking is Competizione numbers, and it is not a Competizione regardless of how low the milage is.

I wonder if the dash would be sticky after all this time. If stored away from UV light and not in contact with skin oils, would the plastics degrade less quickly?

    Thoughts, @Dave rocks?

    All the best,
    Andrew.

According to both Dave at Sticky Rx and Daniel at Ricambi, new parts out of the box can be sticky.

Correct. It's time although other factors accelerate the failure.

Some of the dots are missing off the air vents by the looks so they almost certainly will be sticky in my experience..

Minor detail, they need to source the correct targa top. Mint condition, unblemished black tops are quite rare by now as well. ;)

The MG car has an aftermarket radio antenna drilled into the rear quarter panel.

No way! The 89 is worth twice as much as the 91 because it has normal 3 point seat belts and none of the retarded mousebelt crap the 91 has.

For $198,900, I'd at least expect the gear knob to be on square! ;):D

627 miles in 28 years? - Enzo Ferrari must be turning in his grave! - What a waste of a great car!

Car is worth maybe $100k - tops. Sorry, that’s the market.

Which is another reason why I love my 91/92 Canadian Spec 348 so much. :)

However, the Canadian DRLs are way more valuable than fog lights, especially for driving in Florida. Now I don't have drive with my headlights popped up all the time.

It's FL, people don't see you when your lights aren't on.

I’d be curious how different that is vs my Euro spec city lights. I usually drive with those on.

The DRLs are pretty bright. Just as bright as my headlights, according to the light meter app on my phone.
