I thought the manual was for Europe only. Either way if one exists it would be possible to convert the car to manual

It was for Europe only, yes. But after the automatic version debuted, sales of the manual one went off a cliff (in 2017, they built an average of less than 13 manual Quadrifoglios per month). Alfa stopped taking orders for it in December 2017, and the very last manual Quadrifoglio rolled off the line in March 2018.

    Hi,

Long time to hear you and your wisdom. Any news on the hybrid Giulia's?? Are they still planning the upgrade for North American??

I suppose you're referring to the 350hp with the additional 48V battery I've talked about in the past; at this point, frankly, I no longer have any idea. I haven't heard a single peep about it in a long time, and I suspect it may have been shelved in favor of some other hybrid version.

Yes, the manual gearbox is still available on the 136, 160 and 190hp diesels.

That's to bad, I think it would have made the lineup more interesting. Well I hope they come up with something even better(Any rumors :))

I saw this during Cavallino...I cant wait to move south and buy one. Really stunning. I dont care if the interior is not as nice as a BMW or Audi or MB, the ext is on another level.

Just purchased this beauty. A new 2018 (only had 32 miles on the ODO), tri-layer red, Sparco seats, interior is black with red stitching.

Coming out of a 2008 Lexus ISF this was a great replacement as a family car!! So in love with this thing, now I just need Wisconsin "spring" weather to cooperate!

Super nice. I'm considering one, finally---been on the fence, hoping for a manual. So what's this about a 4-cylinder 350HP version possibly coming?

Great choice! Enjoy it, you will need a rear "tire fund" though.
I sold my 13 Maserati GT, ordered the Guilia new. I haven't looked back.

Thanks all for the well wishes! For sure this initial set of rear tires aren't going to last long, haha. She is an absolute joy to drive, I'm told it has a nice stereo too, though with the car in race mode I don't know why anyone would need a stereo!

The color is fantastic and looks so different depending on how the light hits it. It was probably my third preference after the dark blue and volcano black but I wouldn't change anything now. Not too many on the roads in these parts (haven't seen another QV on the road here) and it is funny seeing people turn and look when I drive by.

Manual diesel Giulias have been recently discontinued as well. MY2020 will be auto only, regardless of engine, version and region.

    Thank you Macgeek…

Saw this color yesterday. Wonder who picked this to offer?? Looks almost cold war grey with some metallic !! I am hearing Alfa sales are good but Maserati sales are way down in N.A. by the way. Lack of a new product line and why buy a Maserati when you can have a Giulia QV for the same price??

That's Grigio Lipari, and it is the least popular color in the range on a worldwide level, with just 1,859 cars built in that color since SOP. In the US, it was introduced for the 2019 model year, where it also proved rather unpopular, with 281 units so far.

Notably, Titanio Imola (also new to the US for the 2019 model year) and Rosso Monza have been even less popular, with 211 and 153 units respectively for the 2019 model year as of this week.

I wouldn't be surprised if some of the aforementioned colors were to be dropped in the near future, since there will be 3 new paint colors for MY2020.

Maserati is currently working on two new nameplates: the D-segment UV (based on the Giorgio platform), and something a lot more special.

I have been looking at Ghibli SQ4 prices and I could pick 2015 for 30k or less as a daily driver. Almost want to try but no idea how reliable and how good the electronics are (GPS for example have always been total garbage in Italian cars..)
