Give me the 427. It's refreshing to see one without the Mickie mouse side pipes.

I'm sure someone here already knows the history on the 275, it had to be restored sometime back in 1980's when the Ferrari market spiked.

Great episode though, I learned somethings about Cobras that I never knew.

The fate of the cars will be updated in a new video according to a link attached to the video posted by GHG. Anyone know the chassis number of the 275?

In 2007, my dad and I found our 1957 Austin-Healey 100/6 Longbridge build in a barn....errr... carport. 49k miles, last titled in '68. two wires in the distributor were touching that needed an insulator between them.

    Then:

It's not re-painted (yet), we wanted to preserve the patina. Sorry for the bad picture quality, it's all I had handy.

FYI, my friend bought 08125 in 1981 from Mark Tauber who was associated with The Stable in Gladstone, NJ. A previous owner had imported the car from Italy. He kept the car until 1984 when he sold it to the gentleman from North Carolina who flew to Rochester, NY and drove the car back to NC. As far as mileage, my friend says he thinks he put a couple thousand miles on the car during his ownership but can't recall the mileage at the time he acquired or sold it. He also owned 0817 which is for sale at Fantasy Junction.

A friend sent his project manager to check on building supplies in one of the New Jersey warehouses they use and he came across this today. Was told it was missing the engine and transmission. Look familiar to anyone?

I'm sorry, but I just have to resurrect a bit this thread full of great stories to see if anyone has anymore to add? Would love to read some more stories.

Wrong section, Christian. As I proposed in the Miura thread- and as Joe Sackey agreed- this belongs in garbage finds (because the condition has deteriorated almost to the point of being garbage).

All joking aside, this is quite a collection and it is sad to see how badly the cars have been damaged by time and exposure(!).

Mike I don't want to tamp down on your ambitions but I will say the warehouse is the auction presentation stage of the find. Video attached below is the actual 'as found' and it ain't pretty. P400 Miura appears at 2:51 and the driver's side is the good side(!). By far!

So wait......we get multiple views of an '80's Vette, yet we get one shot of the Miura at the END? I cry "FOUL!". Who made this video? I would like to give them a few pointers on how to build tension and anticipation on film. If this is the teaser video for an auction.....I'll pass (but only because I saw more overgrown landscaping than classic cars).

But.....even in that condition, that Miura would make me the happiest man on earth.

I think people are starving for new projects to buy and restore. I thought I SAW a couple of jewels in that video, but it was so poorly shot.......who knows.

Does anyone know what the Miura went for?
