    Is it true that Juan Pablo Montoya is going to leave BMW and join West Mclaren Mercedes in 2005? If that is true then i wonder who would leave Mclaren? Coulthard?
    I heard all this from my Colombian friend but i wanna know if it's true if it hasn't been posted before.

    It is true that JPM has a signed contract for 2005 driving for McLaren. He will be replacing DC more than likely since i think Kimi is signed for 2005 also.

    not interested what montaya is gone do.....

    they told already 3 months ago he signed for 2005 with mc laren.

    2005 will bring some reshuffling:

    - Montoya and Kimi at Mc Laren
    - DC probably in retirement
    - Button and ? at Williams
    - Ralf potentially at Toyota

    True, JPM has signed a contract at McLaren to replace David Coulthard.

    I think Juan is a talented driver, but I just can not root for him until he is ina red driver's suit. That will not be for a while though.

    Talented he is for sure, otherwise he would not be driving F1. I think he is a great character in F1, but I think he will never become world champion, too inconsistent. Or, one day, he is in a car as good as the F2002 was...
