So ..the FL announced in Geneva March 2019 expected to be a tweaked 488 ,priced between the 488 and the Pista? BB expected to be the regular 488 replacement within the next 4/5 months to be faster and cheaper than Pista?
Don't know how this got so derailed... FL(F142MFL) in Geneva. Think similar to huracan evo, in terms of how it fits in between base and special edition care (huracan/performante). This will list until 21/22 (again, much like the huracan evo). BB(F173) isnt 488 replacement, its more expensive than 488/812. New production model alongside 488 and 812 line. Around May launch. 488 replacement (F171) in 21/22. 812 Spider in November. Ferrari breaking normal cycle as already stated several times in this thread. Done due to several reasons including regulations(emissions), competition and new structure of models and new model types. Ferr9000 already provided this information in the thread. All credit to him.
Thanks ,i did read through this thread and also the other FL thread....couldn't see the wood for the trees.
Thank you for the great summary. Does this mean regular 488 will stop production to be replaced by FL till eventual replacement?
Wasn’t sure if they would have a standard 488 and the facelift at the same time but in retrospect- you are probably right. Doesnt make sense to have two concurrent models
BB means big brown. All cars will be only painted with brown. Sent from my iPhone using FerrariChat.com mobile app
It is a (real?) bargain. BTW. How is the rain on the rhubarb? We are now into rumours about lamborghini but sadly no news about upcoming ferraris.
Yes , i m speaking about the facelift... 4 tail light at the rear end near of the Lusso & 812...Aerodynamic front is an interpretation of the front of the Pista with the cut ...812 s steering wheel...
Here's what I understand is coming up. 488 FL presented in March, deliveries of the coupe version start end of the year. Pista and especially Pista Spider deliveries continue through early next year and then trail off as 488 FL ramps up. A new 50s/60s style "elegant" V12 GT car will next be introduced. It will be a regular production car (not LE or Icona). "Big Brother" introduced later in the year.
How will Big Brother be positioned? It's not limited like LaFerrari, and it's mid engine. Which car does BB replace?
