I do enjoy your comments and I should not have let him get to me. The moderator didn't bother me, we had a discussion about
it and he had to do what he thought was best. I moderate the corvette forum when I can. I have a lot of vintage vettes along with
a few exotics and other muscle cars. 4th Tr with one of them twin turbo and a Lambo LP670 SV. The one in my avatar. The Tr is the
best body and flagship to me and 12 cyl.

Never said I could fix the problems of the world. If you love or are passionate about something, you don’t give a damn what the price is or was. So all the talk about prices on these vehicles climbing and declining is just background noise, nothing else. Enjoy your cars!

Would love to know more about your twin turbo TR! Given the prices of TR’s, I wish more people would mod them. 9:1 compression means they should take very well to some boost. Maybe you could share about it in a new thread?

I sold it unfortunately but it was a Norwood piece of art like James Patterson always builds. This one was a 700 Hp. I'm thinking about
a 1000 hp one. Its very expensive for a full rebuild with custom pistons and rods but I drove one and it is pure sex. Brembo big brakes
and a very reliable car. If it gets going I will start a thread. Btw, never broke a part, not even a rear end.

The only twin turbo I ever saw belonged to a family acquaintance of mine in Indiana. It was a black '86 with twin turbo, targa mod, and spoiler. Plus Nos. :( The car was sold to a Canadian back in the mid 2000s and was driven home (not shipped) all the way back to Canada, not sure where exactly. The car broke down about half way and did not make it.

I have no idea, the car was nice when he got it, but it was getting pretty tired when he unloaded it during the financial crisis. Somebody told me he left the targa off during a car show one time and the interior got drenched in a rainstorm. A friend of mine had a video of it, I'll see if he still has it. I don't know who did the turbo upgrades to it, if I had to guess I would say Norwood.

I'm not sure if it was just knowing how to not abuse it with drive line shock and a good welded differential from the factory or both
that kept mine reliable but it worked and was a lot of fun. I would get Newmans rear this time around but I have seen them break
    transmission gears too so....
