Hi all, Looking for help if possible... For collector plate insurance (British Columbia Canada) I need to have the global production numbers for the year and model of the car. I need some documentation or information regarding 2004 spider production #'s only. Global production. Opinions won't help, just some form of proof. Any help much appreciated MCDOUG u can PM me as well if you like
When I purchased my 2004 RHD 360 Spider I did a fair bit of home work on production numbers. It not that easy to find. There is a couple of good threads here on this forum. I only have total numbers Total factory production 2119 Manuals and 5460 F1 Of that there were 478 RHD manuals and 513 RHD F1 Source = Ferrari Concessionaires However I have also seen conflicting numbers posted!? There probably is no categoric proof available of the 1500 production limit not being exceeded so you could try asking in the Canada or BC section what others have done for previous years
Thank you Jimmie, I'm aware of the process because I collect cars and I have done this before. The dealers are not really helpful honestly because there's nothing in it for them. I need some document or fact regarding the production of spiders in 2004...no idea if it even exists. I had a real tough time with my 99' diabloSV but eventually found #"s...someone out there must have something!! lol
My post may not have been too clear: I meant specifically trying to find via the Canada or BC sections 2002 or 2003 360 spiders who have succeeded in recently registering to get a better handle on exactly what they used to satisfy the authorities
Your figures are correct, they are from the final updated version of the yellow book produced in 2010.
Just tried to look up some details on the “Yellow Book” however cannot find anything on it. Can you tell me a bit more about where I might find it? Is this another term for the concessionaires? Sent from my iPad using FerrariChat.com mobile app
