430 Extended warranties

Save your money and use it to replace the oem manifolds

 

I had the Power warranty on my '08 430 for two years but I never used it. But prior to purchasing the car, the exhaust manifolds were replaced and the F1 actuator was rebuilt. The car also had a full service history. Looking back, I would not have renewed the Power warranty as the items that would probably need replacing would not have been covered under the Power Warranty (i.e. ball joints). If you have history on the car then I would pass and save your money.

 

It is an interesting question, my dealer was recently running a promotion to get the warranty for £1200 which I actually think is pretty good value. Available up to 15 years of age now as well.

 

Mine too but only until the end of March. All owners in Sweden register their cars after the winter on the 1st of April so i guess they haven´t planned for that many to come. Also i suspect the car has to be in perfect condition down to the tire thread.

 

I believe that the new power 15 warranty available in the cars 14th and 15th year is reduced coverage for the same price.
