When Venezuela hit it big on oil, werem't there several Ferrris imported?

    I think they hit it big in the '50s. Some Swiss car dealer said this in an ad for a California Spyder and I quote: "It was delivered the following month to official importer Carlos Kauffmann of Caracas, Venezuela, in an era when that country’s oil fortune was making its upper crust extraordinarily wealthy, and supplying Mr Kauffmann with numerous customers for bespoke coachbuilt Ferraris."

    So despite their presidential difficulties, I am curious ==is there still several vintage Ferraris there or are all the sightings very old?

    Quite possible. Poor Venezuela was going great guns at one time. I have seen photos of early 60s Maseratis there.
    Paraquay appears to have a lot of late model Ferraris.
