    Hey everyone,

I’ve gotten a few differences of opinion regarding this. I assume it’s best to go with something containing little to no abrasive chemicals.

I usually use Griots speed shine on my other cars, but my 458 is my first ceramic coated car.

What is everyone using here? Any suggestions appreciated!

Speed Shine should work- no abrasives there. The manufacturer of the ceramic coating product should be able to provide suggestions. Bead Maker would not disappoint, either. NICE 458

I use Kamikaze "Overcoat" with great result. Polish Angel has a reportedly good product also. Check out Esoteric Auto Detail,. They have some good videos.

If you are looking at using a quick detailer to wipe down the car instead of washing it, then I would recommend against this. Road grime and brake dust will cause marring of the paint. If you do have water restrictions, then I would do a "waterless" wash (which is really a misnomer) instead. Regardless, if you are looking to use something after a wash then either Kamikaze Overcoat or Polish Angle Cosmic Spritz. Both are easy to apply and enhance the gloss. There is no need to use a lot of either one of these products as it can streak (you'll see it in the sun). Keep in mind that these are not "quick detailers" but rather are applied to enhance and act as a sacrificial layer for the coating to make it last longer. Hope this helps.

Another loyal Reload user here. All the cars had a correction/ceramic treatment and I now maintain them with Reload after every wash. Results are miraculous - paints look and feel better than a new car, the product layers with each application, and has obvious benefit of durability that comes with these ceramic coats.

I use Optimum Instant detailer after every wash, and Carpro Reload every other month or so as a maintenance coating. Car is coated with Carpro CQuartz ceramic coating.

Since I just purchased my first F car, I have been looking into cleaning and came across this video. Everyone seems to be very positive about Reload. Thoughts on this video?

I try to touch the paint surface as little as possible. Wash with CarPro Reset, rinse and blow dry with a Air Force dryer. I then use CarPro Eraser as required to remove any remaining spots. I don’t wipe the entire car down with Reload, the more you touch the paint surface, more chances of adding defects.

I have to add Hydrocylex from Car Pro. Keep in mind we are comparing a product that scores 9 and this scores 9.5. Cant get but so much shine. But somehow they seem to keep improving.
