Just to be clear, we're talking about two cars: A 2014, original sticker $342,813, now being sold at Sterling for an asking price of $164k. A 2012, twin of the above car, fully loaded with a bunch of carbon ($403 msrp) which ring007 paid $157k for with just 1,900 miles. The $403k car is not the bare bones car. Matt
Thanks for clearing that up : ) I think though that the price ring007 paid given the sticker price and miles is a very good deal?
I would say so. That's probably a fully loaded none TM car with very low miles. As a comparison, a fully optioned Lusso V12 is in the high 300's
Romo: I ended up purchasing your FF from Sterling 3 months ago. Great car. Only 5 k on her now. Did you happen to notice the bubbling paint when you open the hatch on the left side and also under the hood? I had Wide World Ferrari look into it 2 weeks ago and am waiting for a response on Ferrari Warranting the defects. The body shop said it happens from time to time and they had a F12 with the same issue getting repaired. Any chance you have the second key? Thank you Marcos
It happens on alot of f12 and ffs. If the warranty doesn’t pick it up just send to JB in mount vernon. I was gonna have them fix my ff but i decided to put it off for a while. U can search for my thread i started in ff forum.
Thanks for the information. It boggles me this is even possible with todays technology to properly prepare metals prior to painting. I was told its a dissimilar metals and poor preparation issue. Like a cathode/anode situation and ultimate cancer of the paint. If this is a know issue with the FF's and F12's did they correct the problem with the Lusso? Has anyone else had any luck with Ferrari Standing behind poor paint jobs? I was told it need a completely new hood and a almost complete rear takedown and half the interior removal to do it properly. Somewhere into the 20's to fix. I looked for your link but seeing as I have only been on the site for a short while, cannot locate your link. Thanks again
Better off taking that 20k and putting it on black. Spending 20k to fix pain on an ff is as ridiculous as it gets. Wrap the car, ignore it. Sent from my iPhone using FerrariChat.com mobile app
