Ranks right up there with the "ready for anal" pantses-round-da-neez look.

    Coincidentally, the same crowd, too.

Such molestation should be criminal. Right up there with one of the D'Bag Brothers standing on the hood of his new Pista.

I'm not opposed to a little drop or slight tucking but completely slammed is a definite NO. I hate that negative camber look.

I don't get it personally but to each their own.

Ferrari's are normally low. There are speed bumps and crap in the road that can and will ding, bump and scrape the bottom of the car. When it happens in a Kia or slammed Civic, go ahead get stuck on a speed bump. It's a cheap repair. When it happens to a normally low Ferrari it's expensive.

Why would you want to increase the risk of underbody damage in a Ferrari? Especially in one with an aluminum unibody construction? Not wise IMHO.

Why do the rims protrude an inch past the tire bead? I think it's rather fugly though they can do as they like.

If a modification compromises handling and performance then it’s ruinous.

I personally think it looks terrible and it obviously does nothing for performance, but as others have said - as long as it doesn't endanger others - to each their own.

When I see one of these so-called "slammed" cars, I think suspension failure?

Seriously, even if it's a Subaru, I say to myself - poor car! What did it do to deserve that abuse??

How to turn a fine sporting automobile into a useless novelty. The only thing they need is a nice glass table top. You could use a plank top to create an interesting picnic table too.

Just like the "gangsta ware" drawz-round-da-neez, I'm not sure whether to pity their stupidity or congratulate them on the impressive weight-loss.

    Oh, well. NMP.

That senseless modification is called "hellaflush". It is all about achieving a certain look. In California it was quite popular with the younger car crowd until a few years ago. They even had big hellaflush meets here. It produces poor handling, rapid tire wear, scraping, and other problems. Making the car drivable requires "stretching" the tires (wheels too wide/tires too narrow),which is why the rim lips stick out.
