My guess is next week, but since Ferr9000 hasn't said anything so far about the online reveal, I'm not really sure.

Just a fact. Enzo Ferrari was born on 18 February (1898). Until then let's wait and see.

For what it is worth, I am picking up 22nd Feb as the current thinking on the online reveal date. But, like all things Ferrari, things can change quickly and I would take that with a pinch of salt.

Will Ferrari work with pinifarina for future cars? Hopefully they do.

Good guess, even if I was thinking about Tuesday 19th. I'm also curious about the name: 488 "something" or an entirely new one?

I bet an entirely new name (could be a "4" in it though), they will not want it to appear as a modified version.

I wonder how that really works with copy rights and stuff? Millions of Ferrari fans and I'm sure owners like myself are drooling for a mid engine modern Testarossa with those similar lines, slanted head lights like the 458 or 488. A modern TR would really be something special

Sergio was basically a 458 Spider with the Speciale engine in it.Plus some styling tweaks etc at a huge price.

Rumour has it that the FL will be basically a 488 with the Pista engine, plus some styling tweaks etc.At a bit more than the base 488.

That sounds logical, if they are just releasing an interim car until the "real" replacement is ready.

Wondering how many 'FL' they will be able to build before the real replacement of the 488 appears. what with the 488's still on order Portofino/Pista being churned out at a rate of knots.

    Any thoughts on that ?

I think the 488/Pista will run the full course of production, just like the 458/Speciale did, with the FL an extension on top of that. Just a guess though.

They should name it as "La rehash"! :D

My advice to anyone is, not to buy this car. We should boycott the facelift. :)

What you say makes perfectly sense. A slight displacement increase seems unlikely to me (given what has been reported in the previous pages), so I'd rule out "498" or "499". Hopefully Ferrari will come up with something nice.

I've just realized 2019 is the 90th anniversary of Scuderia Ferrari. Maybe Ferrari 90 (or Ferrari Novanta)?
