Never said Mr JWW bought a Senna. Shmee did. JWW prefers the 720 over the 488

No...not at all. It is with this knowledge that I went ahead and specd and bought a 488. I just don’t look at Ferrari with rosy glasses and blindly follow them. Frankly if Ferrari REMAINS complacent, the other brands will continue to eclipse them.

You can walk into my Ferrari dealer and buy a new 488 right off the showroom floor. Same with McLaren. The landscape has changed certainly

So true. Mclaren and Lamborghini ARE fueled by social medias, YouTubers, etc....but WHY is that? Lamborghini has been around forever...Aren't the younger generations the next buyers?

This is getting crazy now. McLaren and Lamborghini would kill to have the gravitas and following that Ferrari enjoys.

488s have been out since 2016 and are cheaper to buy. 720's came out in late 2017/early 2018

You are totally correct. Ferrari has the most following and longest heritage....but that is dwindling due to the other brands. I find that younger generations don't give as much importance to the historical Ferrari image and are only looking at the current trends. I agree that Ferrari has a killer historical brand image...and I appreciate it. My sentiments are about the NEXT/UPCOMING generation of buyers. It seems that Ferrari should build a killer 720s/Huracan destroyer at the $300K price point and make it an all-new design. At $500-$600K, these younger, newer generations are looking elsewhere. I mean seriously, should there be a facelifted 488 STILL being built on a 10 year old platform in this day and age?? Geneva 2019 should be having Ferrari releasing a completely all-new 488 replacement priced at $300K and blowing the doors off of 720s, Huracan Performantes, etc....why aren't they??

Promise of a $500K+ BB in the future does nothing to combat the encroaching 720S and upcoming 750LT, Huracan EVO, etc. Hopefully the FL revealed in 2 weeks is killer....I seriously doubt it will be.....and I SO HOPE that I'm wrong!

I'll have to take your word on it since Ferrari still has that silly rule of not allowing FNA dealers to advertise their new inventory on their web sight

Interesting, as my Ferrari dealer does not have a single new car on their lot for sale. All their F car inventory is used.

Been like that for a while.

No way doesn’t make sense for BB to be 500k+... you are pricing it more than the 812... then what is 812 successor going to be... 800k+???... I still think at least the 488 FL would be current base of 488+5%... reading somewhere the profitability of V8s is lower than V12 so the BB would be the excuse to raise profitability to satisfy shareholders... no way a Dino will be priced the same as current 488GTB coupe... a V6 turbo hybrid Ferrari will take some getting used to

They should ask for 300k+ for the V6 Hybrid middle engine sucessor of whatsoever. („Dino...???.“).
Looking forward to see how the prices for the last non-electrified V8 predecessors will develop.

How can you tell that’s a V6? I only heard tire noise and noises from the filmer’s vehicle.

I think it's about time they honored Piero Ferrari, but it will of course have to be something really exceptional ,like the Enzo.
