Apologies in advance if there's already a list here somewhere, I did not do a search. I thought I'd start this thread as a repository for buying references. Sort of, if you're looking for X might want to try Y, etc. Its intended to be a library for us and not for shilling/advertising for specific dealer(s). Also NOT intended to be a review/crapping thread (No Yelping) strictly just for informational purposes and by no means listing a dealer means that the listing member is responsible in any way, shape or form for that dealer. I'll start: European Watch Comapny: https://www2.europeanwatch.com A Collected Man (Eric Wind): https://www.acollectedman.com Govberg Watches: https://www.govbergwatches.com Watch Expo: https://www.watchexpo.com AkaTayuka: http://www.takuyawatches.com Bob's: https://www.bobswatches.com DavidSW: https://davidsw.com DFW Watches: https://www.dfw-watches.com
I've never been in, but have bought a couple of watches from them. Pricing is decent, and there's room room for negotiation which can yield great deals. They're efficient, and honest in their dealings. You can check out their inventory online before you make a visit.
I get all my watchs on Watchrecon website which is a conglomerate of other watch forums for sale ads. So far so good. I did buy one through Heritige auctions. Also know the guys at M and B watches here in Dallas but havent talked to them in awhile; http://mandbwatches.com/
Thanks for posting - this the kind of exchange I was looking to see, the flow of information and hopefully others will chime-in as well. Cheers.
Watchfinder - huge selection, quality and a professional service imo. They ship worldwide https://www.watchfinder.co.uk/
Not exclusively, but primarily I now buy my watches from two independent jewelers in downtown McKinney Texas.
To clarify - When I have helped people who ask, the pieces they have acquired have all been from A/D's, and with warranties, especially the AP's and RM's I've posted threads about. Also, if I source a Rolex, it will be from an A/D, with warranty. No dice rolls.
If you’re in New England/NY, Becker’s Jewelers in West Hartford, CT always has some nice vintage and recent model Rolex watches. They were at, or below, the prices of the big online watch sellers, plus I felt comfortable buying my first nice watch from a brick and mortar location. I’m no expert, but they seemed to have very fair pricing and were easy to deal with. Sent from my iPad using FerrariChat.com mobile app
I've used Westime in LA, sales person was Kimberly. I bought a couple APs from her. I've also bought a couple pieces from the newest Rolex/Patek co-boutique in Las Vegas (crystals mall) and I used Krikor. Hes an amazing sales person. I've also used Watches of Switzerland (patek) inside Wynn and my sales person there is Maria. just my .02 ackkkk....i just read the title...sorry. Non ADs...i dont buy pre owned.
Anyone have a good source for new Chopard Mille Miglia - new, not pre-owned. Considering a purchase for my best friend who is crazy about that timepiece.
I have bought Breguet and Rolex from Paul Duggan in Boston, European watch in Boston does service on my watches. Also Feel Good Watches I have done business with, and Watch Expo.
