Like the title says , I am considering it and building a newer Grand Sport Corvette in memory of my father . He passed away in August and wanted to get a new Grand Sport when they came out . He never got around to doing it so i have been playing with the idea of doing one in his honor . He instilled my way of thinking and great work ethic so it's only fair i pay him back somehow . I have no idea what price i would ask but I know this would have to be sold to a smaller market that is looking for a highly modified Ferrari .

I am open to a little critique but not full on negativity :D

I’d keep the 360, sound and quality alone. I’m sure you have a fair amount into it as well. I’m all for performance but at the end of the day interior bits and other parts of a corvettes build quality don’t really compare. My two cents. Hope you keep the Italian beauty. Post some pics.

I was told about 550whp but never dynoed myself . Car has never seen a track . Strictly used as a weekend toy on the highway .

    Just needs some supercharged lovin'

I would guess in the 80k range to that special someone .

    Stock car - roughly 70k
    turbo kit - 25k
    labor for install - ???
    DPE 19" - 5k

I know it's not exactly how certain people would modify but you could always sell some parts and buy new ones according to the buyers wishes .

It's not a for sure yet but i am toying with the idea ;)

My 2 cents... you only live once. If you have the means, keep both. If not, could you always get back into another F car down the road? It's only money.

Now on the its only money standpoint. There are some deals to be had on Corvette's right now. They have several months inventory sitting on dealer lots. I'm sure you can find some steals and in the spec you like. Likely they have high inventories because the dealers are grabbing cars so they can keep allocations for the next generation. There are a couple good Corvette forums out there, read up and see if it's the right direction for you.

Exactly my thoughts about getting into another Ferrari later....if i want . The only downfall of owning the car is that there is nobody in this area that has the knowledge to work on them .

I can find a grand sport for pretty cheap and then add all the extras for about the cost of the Ferrari .

I know several wheel sets but the adapters....3k is the best I've seen. I was going to replace the nuts because of some scratches and such...until I found out they are almost $500....each!

I personally love the grand sports. Almost got one insteas of the ferrari but didnt want to eat the depreciation. Kerbeck consistently has the best deals on them. My garage, God willing, will always include a Vette of some sort and an Italian beast. Hopefully you can keep both, but if not, the grand sport is a fantastic car with a ton of possibilities.

You know this already, but you are not going to get anything close to what you may want, unless you already have lower expectations. The Ferrari crew is a different animal, but if it was UGR Lambo, that’d be a different story!

I started looking around at what i would do to the car if i got one and found a ton of options at 1/10 of the cost of Ferrari parts .

I know it's a smaller market but there is someone out there for everything . I am not needing to unload it right away so i can hold tight for the right buyer . No way in hell will i lose my ass on this car . I would rather keep it and eventually build a vette than give it away :D
