Which red carpet colour?

Is there a quick answer to which is the correct shade of red for a 1980 Euro GTB out of these two?

The car’s factory spec sheet simply says ‘red’ for carpets. The carpet has been changed to black at some point and I thought it best to put it back to original while the car is being painted.

These samples are from Lakewell.

Would be good to know if anyone has a similar year car with red carpets

I'd never judge a color on a computer screen.

 

Impossible to say. Even the backgrounds in the photos aren't the same light level/saturation values.

 

One is dark red/burgundy, the other is bright red.

Thank you, yes I had a look there and on this basis I think I’m going for bright red rather than burgundy. Properly 1980!
